I am researching the possiblity of a stern thruster on a 28TE for a customer. Looking at the boat I am not sure it is possible to put in a . Any information would be appreciated. Pictures would be great.

I see there have not been any replies to this question.
I guess I'm curious given the 10' beam, weight, length of this boat why would you go to the expense? I am certainly not a purist but handling the 28 isn't that bad.

Take a look at the thruster on the Ranger Tugs.

Just my 2 cents

as a two season owner of a 28 te i cannot see the need for a stern thruster. coming from dual inboards then outboards i'll admit to a learning curve manuvering the single screw inboard around the docks. i find that the bow thruster allows me to point my stern anywhere i choose. besides i don't think there is anyplace to install a thruster in e stern of an albin 28. one simply must get comfortable with his boat. imho
