Didn't set out to plan it this way, but after I finished up a float plan for next week I realized that we were going to be hitting three of the most historic cruising sites in the Northwest. First we are going to Roche Harbor, one of the oldest and most hallowed yachting destinations in the San Juans, and currently home to a passle of superyachts. see http://www.rocheharbor.com
Then into Canada for two nights moored in front of the fabulous Empress Hotel in Victoria's inner harbor. See http://www.fairmont.com/empress/.
Then a final night at Rosario Resort. See http://www.rosarioresort.com.
The admiral is gonna love it.

Re: Summer Cruise
Man, I'm jealous. I have only been through the San Juans once. And that was on a ferry boat. I remember pulling into Friday Harbor and saying to my wife," I definitely could live here". One of my neighbors at the marina is moving his sail boat up there in a couple of weeks to spend about a month sailing around. Work gets in the way of too many things!
Enjoy your trip!
