Up here north of the border I am having trouble finding Yanmar parts for my Yanmar engine (6LPA-STP). I am told that as far as lubricating oil filters are concerned, any generic filter such as WIX or FRAM is equally as good as the Yanmar product and probably cheaper. The trouble is that after asking a couple of local auto part supply stores, they could not cross-reference the Yanmar part number (119770-90620) to the equivalent generic product. Does anyone know what an equivalent part number is or where I can go to find out?
