I have an Albin 28 TE (2002) with a 315 Yanmar. I notice a high pitched whine or whistle that is rpm related. It does not occur at idle and I have not been able to determine what it is coming from. Could it be the turbo or the alternator or the dripless bearing??? My question is it a normal thing on all engines or is something wrong?
Any ideas will be appreciated.

Like Chiefrcd said, it is normal turbo whine. Nothing to worry about.
