My name is BobR and I am the new owner of a 1988 Albin 36. I live in York, ME but call Baltimore home. We also have a place in southwest florida that my son lets us use. I run a national chain of retail drug stores and pharmacy mail order locations. Both my kids are now out of college and are attacking the corporate world.
I spend alot of time on the road. Too much time. I have an apt. in NYC but frequently travel to Minneapolis and points west.
My wife and I are very new to boating. I owned a 22 Eastern since 2006 which subsequently caused my addiction to boating. It is a very good time in my life to focus on myself and better half. I want to make the most of weekends and try to catch my breath after just turning 50. I have always admired Albins and got lucky with the boat below.
I look forward to participating on this board.

Re: New Owner
Welcome to AOG Bob! Very nice looking boat. Sounds like you live out of a suitcase more than anything else. Hope next summer will give you the time to enjoy the Albin. Your burgee is on the way.

Re: New Owner
I was in a rut of having to do the Minneapolis to Bismark to Fargo to Thief River Falls then home routine for a while a few years ago.frequently travel to Minneapolis and points west.
Now I understand the movie "Fargo" and that's a scary thought.
Hopefully the schedule relaxes a bit during summer so you can enjoy some time aboard!!
