I just joined with hopes of getting some design info on the Albin 32 +2 model. I am considering modifying one of these models to accommodate the limitations I have from a stroke I suffered in 2007. Getting access to a set of plans or design drawings would be very helpful.
Maybe someone in the group has knowledge of such plans.

Re: Modifying 32+2 to accommodate stroke limitations
Hi Jim...welcome aboard.
I've moved your post to a new topic where I hope it will be better seen. Unfortunately, as far as I know, no design drawings exist for any of the RI-built boats. Are there specific things that you'd like to accomplish? Maybe people here can give you some input.

Re: Modifying 32+2 to accommodate stroke limitations
Thanks for the reply.
Due to my stroke I am unable to move forward on the narrow side deck of a powerboat because I can't hold on. Therefore I am looking into a true walkaround. There are very few on the market from any builder.
The key factor is beam. The wider the hull the more space to incorporate the walkaround feature.
The 32' Albin hull is listed to have a 12'3" beam which would work for my purposes. Also, the engine is placed fairly far aft which means any modifications I might make would not be constrained by the height or position of the engine.
Getting access to some plans would make it far easier to determine if this concept can be accomplished.
