Re: Recommended boat transport co
Last year some friends of our had this 17,000 lb Southern Cross 31 cutter rigged sailboat transported 2,000 miles from Bay City, MI to Lake Pleasant, AZ, 37 miles NW of downtown Phoenix. Don't recall how much they paid, but they went through a broker to find the best deal they could. Can ask which broker they used & which trucking company got the bid. There was no company logo on the truck, so can't tell until I ask. All I know is the company was based out of somewhere in North Carolina, so they might be a good candidate for you. They did a good job in this case.
They used this bumper pull trailer. The crane they hired to lift the boat off the trailer had a built in scale & the actual weight was 17,000 lbs.
