Battery question. I have a 1997 28TE with Peninsular engine. Last year I upgraded the batteries to AGM. 2-27s for starting and 2-6volt for house. Last year everything worked great.
This year on the way from the ramp to our slip one of the 6 volt exploded. Has anyone used this combination successfully? Can’t figure out why this happened.

Re: Battery problem
I have 2 group 31’s as start bank in parallel and 2 6 volt in series for my house bank. All AGM. No issues.
Did you disconnect cables for winter and reconnect this spring?
