28TE battery shelf replacement

Post by Mike Monte »

I went to put in new batteries today and found that the battery shelf (wood/fiberglass) has softened and thus needs replacing.
I can replace it (I have a few ideas as to how) but I would like to know if anyone has done the same....and how they did it.

Any ideas?

Our platform went bad under the holding tank. We discovered the problem when we removed the holding tank to replace it with a larger one. We put in a new piece of plywood and glassed it in.
