We sold our home on the Chesapeake Bay and took Mary Jo, our 27FC down the ICW for the second time. We usually travel internationally during the winter, but for now, we are enjoying having our solar power, three season enclosure and our larger holding tank as we complete our first straight week at anchor....and it looks like we can be here at Cayo Costa for another week before needing more water or a pump out!
Some people think they need a 40 or 50 foot motor yacht in order to enjoy extended time in the water. But for us, our little 27 has everything we need and we are perfectly happy here. The important thing is to go explore and enjoy your boat. It’s been great fishing, great anchorages and even meeting a few Albiners on the way!
