Does anyone have an Italian made transmission on their boat? The plate says ZP Marine Acro (TN)Italy.
If anyone has this type tranny please let me know what fluid you use for it.
I have a Perkins Engine Sabre 300Ti with this tranny

Are you sure it’s zp marine and not zf marine?

Sorry for the delay. Yes you are correct my tranny is a ZF Arco. I spoke with an Authorized mechanic and he helped me out.
I had to flush the transmission he said 2 times I did it 3. Seems to have fixed the problem.
What I find amazing is the Boat inspector which I would never recommend Bob Scanlon did not pick up on this at all. He checked the fluids and did the oil samples. Just one more thing he missed. Hopefully there is no issues in the future with it.
The mechanic said it should be fine if I had problems to call him. I would tell you his name but its on the boat in my log. If you ever need it let me know. He was a nice guy and gave me information and help on the telephone instead of just coming out and charging me.
