Albin 35 TE Windward Lunenburg, Nova Scotia
I have had one broken stanchion bolt since purchasing her 3 years ago. This year I have found 2 adjacent broken stanchions on the starboard side along the side of the house and now it is serious. There is a single bolt through the deck that is sheared off flush with the fiberglass. There is little hope of access to the nuts for most of the stanchions. The ones in question are behind my starboard water tank. I'm looking for a deck screwed solution for fixing/reinforcing most or all of them. They sit on top of a raised deck lip.
Has anyone else had this issue? I see signs of rust around the base of a number of them so suspect it be poor SS threaded rod.
The SS stanchion and rails are 1 1/4" and I am yet to find a source of surface mounted bases.
Any experiences or ideas?

Shrink-wrapping can put a lot of pressure on these tall rails, especially at the aft ends of the rails
