What, if any, fuel additives do you use (and with what motor)?
What do you use to stabilize for winter storage?
This stuff was available at the WalMart:
http://www.mwfi.com/Fuel-Additives/PS/P ... ditive.htm
The winter version looks like it would be OK for storage....
but then the whole industry looks like snake oil salesmen.

The previous owner of my boat swore by Marvel Mystery Oil and a biocide. I used it until I had a long conversation with Butch. From what I learned at our rendezvous, the only additive needed is a biocide. I use a product named Bio Kleen. A few ounces every fill-up.
I don't remember what I used for a stabilizer last year at haul out. Maybe a product named Sta-Bil?

At each fueling : I add the first two
ValvTect BioGuard / as a biocide
Power Diesel Service / Adds lubrication especially with lower sulpher fuels.
All the commercial guys use it and I know of quite a few contractors that run this in their heavy equipment diesels.
Diesel Stor-n-Start at haul out for winter storage.

I use Biobore JF to prevent anything from growing in the tank and K100-MD fuel additive. The dealer recommended both and I have stuck with them since new.

Thanks for the K100 link. I didn't realize they made diesel additives.
When the E10 hit the scene at the fuel docks summer of '06 many a gas boat was having an issue or two with fuel. Soon after is when I noticed the K100 for sale at area fuel docks and shortly after the problems seemed to disappear. My lawn tractor (gas) was giving me a hard time that summer (continual filter clogging). I then started a K100 program and things were good again. It now goes in anything gas that I own / leaf blower, chain saws, string trimmer and house gen-set.
