I'm looking at an Albin 28 with a Cummins/Mercruiser QSD4.2, 320 hp. Haven't found much info. about this engine. Anybody have any first hand experience with it?

Dunno whether you were looking at the same boat we just bought, but it has a Cummins QSD4.2, 320 hp on-board. Other than sea trial, don't have experience with it, but it was highly recommended by our broker, and had just over 400 hours on it. Pretty much like new - great shape and runs well. The turbo whistles as you come up thru the RPM until on cruise and settles in nicely. Happy to answer and questions, but at this point we don't know much having just had it winterized and shrink-wrapped.
