Re: New windows
Interesting mod. That's a re-framed replacement of the stock curved windshield? Always wondered what one would do if the original windshield were cracked or broken how one would replace that glass. This gives you an opening center section & able to use flat panel glass. Very much one of a kind plus the nifty little elliptical window under the main cabin window. Your boat, like ours, is one of the few I've seen with lifelines.
Just got through getting our topsides painted (see thread on that). Not surprised Texas is getting rain. It's been a wetter than normal winter & spring here in AZ. When we get a little shower & breeze by the time the same system gets to Texas it's deluges & tornadoes. We had some squalls & brief thunderstorms and cooler than normal on Wednesday, unusual for this time of year as we're this is when we're heading into our dry season and temps start ramping up into the 90s and above. The green grasses and wildflowers of the colorful spring we had back in February and March have already dried up & turned brown heading for summer. Now the saguaro cacti are starting to bloom, sure sign summer is on the way. The blossoms only last a few weeks in May & early June, then dry up for the rest of the year. Can't wait to get the rest of my top and brow painted

That looks awesome! Did the side sliders go in the old holes?

Re: New windows
When I ordered mine a couple of years ago Peninsula Glass told me they didn't need a template for an Albin-25. The new windows fit fine. Guess they've made a few over the years.
I need to get started on a hard top for our boat, too.

Thats sweet! How much are they? I was looking at http://www.crlaurence.com/adv/catalog_l ... html?PN=18 page 303 and they actually have a special profile for it. Very cool! That is an awesome catalog. I'm a sucker for gadget and now I wish I became a glass guy...
