Saw a Beautiful Boat...no idea who makes it

Post by Paddy »

Whiling driving down from NY to Florida, we passed a boat on a trailer being hauled south in Florida. It was a good 35-37' in size. From the bow to the cockpit, it looked like a downeaster, even Albin'ish, with full cabin. It was a standard split window, with 2 large panes of glass. The cockpit could best be described as the look of a center console but instead of curtains there were full length glass surrounding it with a rear sliding door. Cockpit was a walk around. The stern resembled a downeaster, no visible transom door (like the Mainship Pilot), then 3 ETEC outboards hanging off a bracket / swim platform. It was seafoam green. My description is not doing it justice...the hardtop to deck glass blew us away. No brand name on it...just throwing it out there if anyone can offer up suggestions. Hoping to locate it through google. Can't afford it, just would love to know what we saw in case I hit the lottery.

Could it have been an MJM 35?

Actually, I do recall the transom being curved out and painted the hull color...trying to find a pic but picture the rounded stern with no door, then the outboards. And it had 3 portal windows.

Something like this with a glassed out cockpit and ETECs on the back.

Just using the Back Cove as an example, definitely was not a Back Cove. I recall the port and and starboard glass being the same length as the rear, almost like a big glassed in box that you could walk around. I searched hundreds of pages on Yachtworld, can't find anything close to what the wife and I saw. Wish I was able to snap a pic.
