One-lunger gas engine! Would be a good candidate to convert to a steam launch (like this one as seen in Blaine Harbor Marina, Washington).

Distance is not a valid excuse. AND there's a trailer by the look of it.

Awesome project, that looks as if it's highly doable; I can already see her with all that wood glowing in the sun, dark royal blue cushions and surrey top, the wheel all agleam, and some nice old, and well shiny, brass bling. If the original engine is running well leave it. (How far you gonna go?). And - long wooden oars - what more do you want?

That said, I'd love to see and hear that little wooden Albin underway.

Wonderful - I well remember plenty of small craft on the Thames, in the 50s/60s that sounded just like that. I'm willing to bet it can chug along like that for an awfully long time, and is almost silent once the cover is on.

Quite an authentic 'patina' paint job on engine in the YouTube clip. Different boat than the one on CL.
