Thanks

I have a five inch on the rudder, none on the shaft. No room with the line cutter.

Like John, I have a five inch (R-5) on the rudder. The five inch is available as an R-4 or R-5 with the R-5 being a bit thicker and heavier. The engine type and gear will determine your shafting and how much room that you have. On my single QSC 8.3 there's plenty of shaft exposure, even if I added a line cutter. I currently use a streamlined Godfrey anode with no line cutter. The Godfrey products are generally a prop shop or non-chain store type inventoried product. http://www.neprop.com/godfrey.asp
