Cockpit sliding window (missing seal)

Post by rbsangus »

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone knows the original manufacturer of the sliding windows on the sides of the 28 TE cockpit. The vertical seal on st. Sliding window (the one that seals one window against the other when one is slid) has fallen off.

As this is also used to secure the window closed, I’d like to see if it’s possible to get a replacement.

Thanks

I got a replacement seal from
http://pompanettellc.com/aluminum-2000/

Best bet is to email or call them.

Here's the contact info of the person who helped me back in 2012:

Roy,

Were the folks at Pompanette able to help you? I'm missing the same piece.

Thanks.

I left a message at Pompanette. No reply. The email address bounced back.

My plan is to try again via phone...
