Moriches, Always Changing..Never Improving
The attached is self-explanatory. Don't know who other than Max (Maybe Gery Garcia?) will care... The southern passage towards the inlet is the only way I have gone in anything but an outboard for as long as I can remember anyway..

Re: Moriches, Always Changing..Never Improving
Rob, thanks for the heads up. A guy in my club with a 36 SeaRay fly bridge went through Moriches on the south side at high tide and at times he only had 3 feet of water. Might be time to buy an air boat.

Hi Rob
Mark pinged me about this post (Thanks Mark)
My sister and brother in law went thought the area two weeks ago using gps points provided by one of his friends who frequents the area. (on their boat, Copernicus 36ft drawing I think 3'6")
Didn't mention any issue going through on their way out east to Shelter Island.
He mentioned doing an altered north dogleg route. They are coming back shortly - will post if they have any issues.
Hope all is well
Gery

I know several coworkers that frequent those waters. I'll forward the info along.
Me? I'm still a Peconic Bay kinda guy.
Thanks Rob!
