Thought we'd share a quick video of our trip to D.C. on Mary Jo, our modified 27FC. Highly recommend it!

Re: Potomac River - Chesapeake Bay to Washington DC
Nice! Great job with the slide show! We wanted to do that stretch when we had our boat on the Chesapeake two years ago, with hopes of getting to D.C. on July 4th. We put in on the Nanticoke River in Blades, Delaware on June 19th, 2015 ran the 35NM down to the Bay but it was just so hot & muggy & stormy we scrapped the idea of going all the way to the Potomac, and instead only went as far as Solomons & the Patuxent & back across to Cambridge & St. Michael, cutting the cruise short to two weeks.
