Tired of yelling
ANY suggestions to help quiet the engine would be appreciated. We already have the wrap around sound proofing. Wife thinks I'm yelling at her. Help.

Mike,
I'm learning that you and I have the LOUDEST engine out there. (Peninsular)
Search previous posts. There was a discussion about a sound proofing product that worked very well. Or, someone will jump in here. It is a pain when you cruise with friends. They always ask me why I'm going so slow. We can go slow and talk or go fast and YELL.

I used "Soundown" on my A27AC.. The plus, it dampened the sound, the minus, having to roll it up to open the engine hatch. I spent $250.00 and they sent me way too much of the stuff. I also found the side walls from the floor to the sliding windows is hollow, I stuffed some old seat foam in there, THAT helped A LOT.
