28 flush deck engine hatch

Post by Ben423 »

We just took possession of our 2005 28 flush deck. Can someone describe the procedure for opening the engine hatch? When I press the "Open" switch, I get nothing, not even a click.

There is a switch on the panel next to the wheel labeled something like engine hatch. Turn that on first to activate the toggle switches at the starboard end of the pilot house.

Thanks. Turned out that the problem was in the switches. All good now.

Congrats on your taking possession of the flush deck. I like that model. I see your question was resolved.
Just noticed your Home Port of Two Harbors. Great place to be!
