I got the oil. Now I have to find oil filters for it. I'm in south west Florida and it seams like Yanmar is territorial Florida there aren't any dealer in my area. Would anyone know if there is a cross reference On another filter that i can use. 6lp ste motor.

Wix 57254, just bought 3 for $66 from Discount Fleet Supply, other deals are available through Amazon.

For the record, I am happy with the Wix oil filters but the fuel filters (33138) are subpar to the OEM Yanmar filters as they have much smaller filter element. Price is 3 to 1 so either go with the OEM Yamnar or change the cheaper one more often.

Randy if your boat is 2006 the yanmar is most likely a 6LPAM-STP (not sure the difference from older 6LP-STE which was in my 2000)
6LPAM-STP uses yanmar filter 119770-90620.
These guys are yanmar dealers and ship anywhere and you can buy fuel filter and impeller etc too for basically same as aftermarket price.

119770-90620 is the same Yanmar filter for my older 6LP-STE so you should be good with the Wix 57254. Just google Wix 57254 and look for the best price with shipping. I have gotten them in the past for as low as $19 each with free shipping, $66 for 3 shipped isn't bad either!

That is the same oil filter that I have. I was able to find out that O' Rielly auto has access to them. So in a pinch could possibly go to O'Reilly auto parts to get a filter. They are $39 apiece. The Wix57254
