We spent monday at Coeyman's Landing marina. Nice place, great folks.
Tuesday and wednesday at the town docks in Waterford which is free...water,wifi, power costs $10 for your entire stay.
In about an hour we will shove off thru the flight locks, thinking of staying at the park at either lock 7 or 8.
Friday we are Conojohari bound.

We have stayed and winterized at Coeymans Landing...Hedi and her husband, Carl are great people along with their son, Eric....a good stop! Waterford....what can you say....a good stopover and the price is right! When we trailered our 24'er, we would launch her just north of Coeymans, in Bethleham, and motor up to Waterford to hang out for the weekend. A good place to meet up with folks doing the Loop. We were invited onto many different boats while staying there by many nice people. Sounding like you're having a grand ole time!!

Canajoharie free town docks last night. Couldn't pick up wifi. Since my mast is down I had mounted my "wirie" wifi receiving antenna on my bridge rail. Not high enough. So now I have it mounted redneck style...on an extended boat hook that is tiewrapped to a rail.
Currently tied to the Herkimer free dock, sucking up the resturant's wifi and counting Walmart trucks on I-90.

Well, let's see. No wifi for that past several days, and I am feeling pretty good about that. :D
One night above lock 21, listening to nothing but the coyotes all night.
Then across Lake Oneida, and stayed one night on the free wall. Then 2 nights in Fulton, again free wall. Today we are lying Oswego (yes on the wall) and plan on trying to cross to Kingston tomorrow am.
So far we have taken on about 160 galons of fuel and we're topped off. Got a total of 2 + hours on the genny, not bad for 3 weeks.

No wifi tha past several days. Currently lying in Peterborough Marina.
Free concert in the adjacent park tonight...John Denver. Must be a truibute band, I hope they didn't book the real John Denver, the concert might start a little late.

Took on 50 gal of diesel today to top the tanks off. That means I used 50 gal in the past week. Oh yea, one day I didn't run. the trip is over 600 miles (nautical) so far.

For those following this, we are currently in Fenelon Falls, Ontario, lock 34.
Last night we stayed at lock 30 which is Lovesick Lake. Yes that is what it's called. The lock is on an islannd so its very isolated and killer quiet and dark at night. Many are afraid to stay there because the lockmasters warn of racoons climbing aboard. Yes they made their initial visit at 1:45 am. We shood them away. They returned an hour later, I heard them climb aboard and walk around, looked in the windows, then left.
Oh yes, and for those who read the Canadian fashion magazines, if you see a young model with pink/red hair posing in a bikini on an old Albin trawler....well that just might be the Attitude Adjustment she is posing on. Yes that was sunday and really bizare, but how could we say no?

Did the Big Chute yesterday. that's a kick for sure. Forget everythng that the cruising guides say. That is ALL BS. Just do what they tell you and things will be fine.

Utube video of Attitude Adjustment in the Big Chute taken by a frind we are cruising with. There are 3 videos.
The Big Chute is amazing. Within seconds they are lifting the boat, barely time to shut down the engine.
