High water alarm

High water alarm
Have a 2005 Flush deck 28TE. The high water bilge alarm is wired and tests good. I found the sensor sitting on top of a bundle of wires, no where near the bilge. Before I guess where it should go, curious if anyone actually knows where the manufacturer mounted it?
