1997 31TE w/Half Bridge & All Fishing Gear/Tackl;e

Fellow Albin Enthusiasts.
My name is Graham Whitehead, i'm 86 with a terminal health condition and need your help finding a new owner for my beloved and rare 31TE. The boat is up for sale at Thunderbird Marina, where I live in West Vancouver, BC. (see: https://thunderbirdyachtsales.com/yacht ... ournament/).
The Albin brand, I believe, is better know, appreciated more in the US than the West Coast of Canada and hence more likely to be in demand in the US. At 72 cents on the US dollar, the good news is that the prevailing exchange rate favors buying in Canada reduces the asking price from $175,000 Cdn) to $126,000 US)- the bad news is that the tariff war, standing at 25% on imports from Canada, knocks that back up to US$157,500 - no longer a big deal! That said, some believe the 25% tariff will end up at the Global 10% in the not too distant future - so treading water for a few weeks or months, which I am willing to do - might pay off. There is also talk of making boats built in the US (which of course is the case of Albin's) tariff free.
