New Owner 2003 Albin 28TE

Closed today on this boat name Aquaholic. It is currently located on east coast Florida in Stuart and I will be moving it to the Tampa Bay Area in the next week or so, This web site has been extremely useful in helping me understand the Albins. It would not be an exaggeration to say this site was a significant reason in me deciding to buy it. While I started out with smaller outboard boats, for most of my 50 years of owning boats I’ve been a sailor. I probably still would be if Hurricane Milton had not totaled my SeaSprite 34, even tho it had been hauled out for the storm. Spending a lot of time in New England I always admired the lobster boat design. The 28te comes close to that with many more amenities. So with the hurricane loss of my sailboat I decided why not find one and give it a try. The shallow west coast Florida waters are perfect for the 28te. I like working on boats and look forward to doing that with the assistance of folks on this forum. Similarly, I’ve been messing with boats for 50 years and will be happy to help in any way.
