mine is plastic also, the straps were a terrible design, I had new ones fabricated out of 316 SS, a great investment. It holds approximately 160 gallons of diesel.

Interesting comment about capacity. My tank is also plastic and says 161 gallons but the seller listed it as 132 gallons. Also noticed other sellers listed as 132 . Mine is a 2005.

I believe the engine box (TE) models hold 132. The Flush Deck (FD) has more fuel capacity. My guess is he just copy and pasted a general spec for a Albin 28 and that 132 number didn't get changed.
