Anode condition

Post by Marsea5 »

Hello
Well it's all over for this season. Got hauled out this weekend. I put all new anodes on all running gear (tabs, rudder and shaft) before I splashed this spring. Is this normal corrosion? This is my 1st inboard boat. Not sure.
Thanks!

Yes! If that is for the whole season it is not bad. Electrolyses is a long involved process to explain. But what you have for one season is pretty good. When they disintegrate to 50% it’s time to replace.
