Headliner Remove/Reinstall
I have a Furuno SCX 20 satellite compass pole mounted on my 31 TE. I am contemplating relocating the antenna to a surface mount atop the cabin. I am concerned about how difficult it might be to route the cable back to the NEMA2000 backbone at the helm. I do not think this can be accomplished easily, if at all, without pulling down the cabin's vinyl headliner. Has anyone done this themselves, or would this require the services of a professional upholstery shop? Would it be difficult to return the original headliner back to factory spec? I appreciate any advice, or warnings, other owners might be able to offer. Thank you.
