Volvo Penta KAMDa 300 engine

Post by philipjmcb »

I am not able to find any pencil zincs or other anodes for my KAMD 300 engine. My owner's manual says nothing about this topic other than a general discussion of anodes.
Reaching out to another KAMD owner to determine where these engine zincs are located.
Regards.

Is there any at all on there? I don’t recall there being any on the previous versions of that engine.

Thankyou. That is the conclusion I am coming too, as well. I do know that she is well grounded with bonding wire very visible throughout the boat. This is the correct way to protect the mechanical side, and if this is the case I applaud Albin constructors.
I appreciate your input. Regards.
