Getting supplies ready for winterizing. Anybody running Mann or Wix oil filters on their 6LPA-STC? Both have a factory cross reference part #. Noticed factory Yanmar filters are made in China. Not too thrilled about that. Also, anybody running synthetic? I've always been a fan of Amsoil and they have Rotella equivalent.
Thanks!

Re: Oil and filter question
Since the 6LP is bases on the Toyota 1HD-FTE (Land Cruiser diesel engine)I have been using the Toyota filters PN 90915-30002. Found them online for $22. I believe most of the Yanmars were delivered with these filters installed but painted Yanmar grey. I have a couple of 6LPA-STPs but these should work for your STC as well.
