Hull number AUL40007G506
This is on the transom of the NSC 40 we're looking at. I figure the 06 is the year she was built but was wondering about hull number, etc. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

HUL is the manufacturer of the boat. In this case Albin. 40007 is the serial number of the boat.G5 is the date of manufacture. In this case July of 05. 06 is the model year of the boat. I hope this helps you.

I believe the 40 portion of the number is the length of the boat. AUL40 is an Albin 40, 007 is hull number (but they started with #101) so yours is the seventh hull manufactured. G5 is the date of manufacture (July 5). 06 is the model year of the boat.
