My 28 did not come plumbed for a livewell. I have an unused 3/4" seacock and am about to plumb a pump in. My question is where to place the water inlet fitting / valve in the livewell itself? I'll be removing the starboard side rod holder box to get a look and access. My guess is on the forward outboard side of the livewell towards the top? Searched the forum and couldn't find anything showing the location of the fill valve. Pics would be helpful!!
Also, thanks to this forum I'll be making sure the livewell top seams are sealed well and adding a drain pipe to the bottom drain

Our 1995 28TE didn't have a transom door, and the livewell was in the port compartment. Hope this photo will give you some ideas.

Thank you!! That corner location is about where I figured there would be space to mount it (except for on the starboard side on mine).

Mine was starboard side dead center at the top of the livewell, mounted on the starboard wall of the livewell

Appreciate the response! I'll be taking a closer look this weekend to see where I have enough access to mount it.
