Hi there,
Has anybody ever had to replace a stern tube on a Classic 36? I replaced the cutless bearing on my boat, but when the bearing holder was removed it sheared off the stainless steel tube. Now the bearing holder is only attached by 2 studs. Has anybody ever had this happen?
I would appreciate your advice.

Re: Stern tube replacement
Hi, we got it fixed by machining a stainless steel threaded spigot. Seems to be fine now
