The Minnow's 65 day Alaska Cruise

We left The dock at Swantown Marina in Olympia Washington on July 2nd and reached our furthest North point in Glacier Bay Alaska on August 21st.

Along the way we saw some incredible scenery, motored through some exciting seas, and even managed to sneek in some epic climbing and hiking.

For now our girl is safely tucked away in Petersburg ready for our return trip next May.

for anyone interested in more details, we kept up a running blog/Ships log of our trip at

Wow! What a trip! Please more info on how boat is rigged, the tender arrangement, the masts, etc., what worked and what didn’t work, etc.

Hat's off to you!!! There have been a few Albin 25's that have made the run up to Alaska, former owner of Selkie is one, but not many. A bit more than a "3 hour tour"! An epic journey, one for the history books of Albin lore. Your A25 like ours is one of the few I've seen equipped with life lines. By coincidence we plan to have our own boat up at Swantown marina & storage lot next May or early June prior to a final Salish Sea cruise before laying it up for sale on consignment with Capital City Yachts brokerage. Maybe we'll get a chance to cross paths. We'll be on the lookout for a blue hull Albin 25.

Yeah I am no blog guru, but I believe at the end of that series of posts it will say somewhere “click here to see more posts” or something like that. Certainly not intuitive.

I like that super-structure! Looks like you might have everyone beat on lifting a dinghy (small boat class) and are prepping for a radar installation. And congrats on a what I imagine was a life-goal trip.
