CE Mark on 2006 Albin 28TE

I am trying to find out if there is a CE Stamp or Mark on the above vessel and if yes where is it located. Grateful for any advise. Thank you. Billy. Singapore

I think I may know some history on this boat.

Is it a blue hull flush deck version?

I found a data plaque under a cabinet in the head area, I believe it said CE Class B or some such thing.

Dag. Not all Albins had a CE mark - it’s only required in Europe. I had to get mine CE approved by a specialist company on import. This particular boat, if it’s the one I’m thinking was imported in via the U.K. then went to Singapore - it was for sale here for one day before it was registered as “sold” and then exported to Singapore.

It is interesting some were and some weren't - there was one for sale in Belgium a while back with a Volvo D6-310 and that was marketed as an Albin 9 metre, even the logo on the side of the cabin stated 9 metre. Perhaps Albin thought they would get a share in the European market? For reference the Belgium boat was a 1999 hull.

Pretty sure this was the boat - I don't think its a 2008 but I do recall when seeing the advert for the a broker here in the UK it being a late model. When I spoke to the broker in Southampton about it, that was when I got the backend history about it.

Yes. This boat was built 2006, sent to UK apparently for a boat show (Southampton) and then sold and shipped to Singapore. A blue hull, flush deck Newport Edition. Thanks for all the response. Much appreciated. Billy

Curious to know why you need a CE certification for a boat in Singapore? So far as I can tell it would’ve been done anyway since it was sold by a U.K. broker. I’ll have a dig through my emails to see if I can find any communication with the broker in Southampton, but they may have been acting as agents for Albin and the purchase may have been done in dollars.

This boat was never flagged. Am in process of Polish flagging it and was asked in the application for photos of boat, CIN and CE mark if any.
I still cannot find the CE Mark.

Mine wasn’t CE marked either. I had a company do it when it was imported here. I’m pretty sure the U.K. agent involved with it was Ancasta in Southampton.
