Quick stabilizer gyro

Post by Watto99 »

I’m thinking of putting a Quick 5 gyro stabilser on my Albin 28
Has anyone looked into this?
The location would be on the deck or hundred the deck if possible.
It would add about 550 ponds to the boat.

Any opinions on whether this would be too much or lower the waterline to above the scuppers exhaust outlet?
Many thanks

Hi
That’s great
Can you tell me which Quick stabilser you used and any other info, like how much lower in the stern and did you relocate the batteries - need bigger batteries. Also do you have any photos?
Many thanks.i
