Can anyone tell me what the recommended batteries are for the 28TE?

I purchased and installed two of these last May.

Re: 28TE Batteries
I installed 2 Trojan 105s for the house bank and a 1 combined start/deep cycle 1000 amp/h for start battery.
With the solar panel, all LED lights and a modern fridge, the above was sufficient for extended cruising without a generator.

Re: 28TE Batteries
Whoa! Greg and Norseman used huge batteries! We had four Group 27 deep cycle batteries. One designated for engine starting; two in parallel for house use; one dedicated to bow thruster. Engine was Cummins 6BTA 250. This was plenty to be on the hook for two days. Biggest draw was the refrigerator. New Isotherm drew 2.5 amps.
Check your engine starting needs and then calculate daily power needs for the house. I like to double that amount.

Re: 28TE Batteries
We run two NorthStar AGM 24's for the house bank and then have a group 31 for the Cummins. What kind of space do you have for the batteries in your particular boat? Mine are under the quarterberth and the cabin entryway step. There is also some potential room for a battery below the helm, but I have not put one there.
