Annika mystery/crime series on PBS Masterpiece Theater

Is anyone out there a fan of the imported British murder mystery series "Annika" on PBS TV's Masterpiece Theater? This show is about murder cases investigated & solved by "marine homicide" police unit in Scotland. The title character is the quirky Norwegian born lead "commander" of the unit. It so happens her personal marine police boat is an Albin 28 or 31 TE. In a scene in one episode where she's driving the boat if you look closely you can clearly see the Albin logo on the hub of the steering wheel.

It's a 28TE and I loved the first season! I do wish she'd bring the fenders in, though. lol

That’s Marks old boat, he was on these boards and is the only 28 in the U.K. with a 370 Cummins. It’s also the only one with an Alaskan bulkhead. The boats name was Orca and was one of the first two imported originally to Northern Ireland built for fishing for giant blue fin tuna.

Us too! We have the series set to record on satellite DVR & is one of our favorite shows. Episode 6 where Annika was locked in her SAAB 900 car's "boot" and her kidnapper blew it up with a grenade was a shock. For a couple tense minutes we wondered if her character had been killed off. Very cool that her boat had connections to AOG. Small world!

LDV, I knew she was out of that trunk. I have two friends with Saab 900's who love their cars the same way Annika does, so I totally understand the depth of her loss.
