My 2001 28TE has a leak in the fuel tank....
It needs replacing.
Has anyone here (who owns a 28TE) ever replaced their fuel tank?

Hi Mike --
The forum search function works pretty well, but sometimes Google works better. I googled "albin 28te fuel tank replacement", and came up with this thread: viewtopic.php?t=10824

I'm doing it now. Just had one made locally with a bottom sump and pickup. Figuring out the best way to get the old one out in the next few weeks. Nothing like finding diesel in the bilge...

Not a terrible job. your gonna have to cut a wedge out of the stringer to remove and replace tank. keep the wedge and glass it back in.
