What year is yours and how Is the front clearance? Mine started spewing oil on Easter Day, 2017. I went to Grover’s in Freeport NY (authorized Yanmar dealer) first and I vividly remember them laughing at me and saying I was f*cked. They were fully aware of the design fault and said it would require the engine to be pulled. Because it was also the start of the season, they estimated weeks to fix. Dave and Diesel Tech is a pro, he was able to get to it without pulling the engine. Replaced the plug, sealed the new one with epoxy, and had me back on the water by Memorial Day Weekend…as promised.

Keep us posted on your progress.

Good luck.
