Curious if anybody knows what the LOA of the 35 CB is with swimstep and pulpit. I've seen 36' 9" advertised but not sure if thats with just the pulpit, just the swimstep, or both.
Thanks. -Todd

Re: Albin 35 CB LOA with swimstep and pulpit
I strongly believe that 36' - 9" is the length of hull & pulpit only. This is the documented length from the 32 + 2 technical specs bulletin for the hull, integrated hull swim platform and pulpit.
The 35 Command Bridge was born by moving the transom back on the 32 + 2 therefore incorporating the built in hull swim step of the 32 + 2 and voila the 35 CB at 36' - 9" with pulpit was born.
Bolt on a swim step to the 35 CB and the LOA increases. Purely guessing to get you in the ballpark: the 35 TE bolt on swim platform is 22". Add this to the 36' - 9" and the 35 CB is in the 38' - 7" ballpark.
Who has a 35 Command Bridge Technical Specs Bulletin for confirmation?

Got a chance to measure one. Its about 39' swimstep to pulpit tip (not including anchor which varies by style)

The plot thickens. I now have two different 35CB brochures:Pitou wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 1:33 pm I strongly believe that 36' - 9" is the length of hull & pulpit only. This is the documented length from the 32 + 2 technical specs bulletin for the hull, integrated hull swim platform and pulpit.

o One shows an integrated hull swim platform
o The other shows the transom pushed out to the end of the hull and a bolt-on platform
Both show LOA as 36'9". That's impossible. You can't push out the transom of a 36'9" boat, add a swim platform, and still be at 36'9".
And did the 32+2 (with LOA 36'9" and integrated platform) get renamed to 35CB? Seems like the marketing department got carried away at some point.

Re: Albin 35 CB LOA with swimstep and pulpit
When we were looking at 32+2 and 35 CB's we did come across what was clearly a 32+2 with the integrated platform but the decals were marked as 35. So it appears as though there may have been a period of time that the 32+2 configuration was marketed as a 35.

Re: Albin 35 CB LOA with swimstep and pulpit
I think that you are right that Albin transitioned their marketing at some point calling the 32 +2 the 35 CB before pushing the transom back to gain a much more appreciated 10+ more sq. ft. of cockpit space and bolting on a swim platform along with some other tweaks. Both boats enjoy a 34 ft. 11 inch hull and deck measurement and a 31 ft. 3 inch waterline.
My wife's cousin had a 32 +2 with the 32 +2 decal and I can remember her saying that they had also seen later years of the same hull with 35 Command Bridge decals. You got to love marketing.
This is similar in the sense that when Shamrock bought the 31 TE molds they called it the 32 TE where there were no changes to the hull and deck measurement, but rounding up as the hull and deck measurement is 31 ft. 8 inches.
