Mine has a rudder indicator, and it is really nice to have. Always nice to know I'm centered before leaving the slip. Agree with catalina_mike - wires are really easy to run, so why not?

Looks like I’ll add it when I’m done with the pump installation,,I might need to get custom hoses to tidy up the install

Where are you installing the sensor core? I am looking at the raymarine ev 150 as well for my 28TE and would install myself.
