I bought a 1996 Albin 28TE With the 300 Peninsulal diesel in August last year. It had 940+ miles on it. Picked it up in Naples FL and motored about 460 miles in less than 4 days to Amelia Island on the NE Florida. It was a great trip and with no problems. I'm doing my 1,000 mile maintenance now and everything looks good. It is a great GM engine and I would buy another tomorrow. It seems all the problems where on an other model which went out of production in 1995.
What prop is on the boat?
Good luck
