Buying 1988 27 sport cruiser
Looking to buy a 27 with diesel motor. Seeing if anyone has any advice on what to be on the look out for? Any know issues? How are these boats on a drift? Seems like a very small beam (7-8”) for a 27’ boat. I’m wondering if this boat rolls a lot on the drift? Thanks in advance

I believe the correct beam measurement is 9" 8" on the 27SC. Ben

Re: Buying 1988 27 sport cruiser
NADA guides shows the 1988 27SC as 7’8”. The family cruiser shows a 9’8” beam. I wasn’t sure if that was legit. Seems like a small beam for a 27’ boat.
Thanks.
Thanks.

My guess is that the narrow beam quoted in the NADA guide is a misprint.
I owned a 27FC and am almost positive the SC is the same hull and pilot house, just without the aft cabin.

The A25 in 8'-6", IIRC. I'm going with 9-8.
