Engine Breaker/ Fuse
2002- 28 TE with 315 Yanmar 6LP - Doing some electrical modifications to my boat- specifically, I have changed to all push button electronic switching including those for my ignition, glow plugs, start, & stop. Since the new push button switches do not offer actual switching power, I need to add a relay to make this work. It did get me thinking though, how did Albin protect the line that is going to the ignition switch? Is there a fuse or is it a breaker? If so, where is this typically located?

Re: Engine Breaker/ Fuse
There is a built in Yanmar starter relay on the wiring harness, in front (actually back)
of the motor. Not sure if that is what you are looking for, but I always carry a spare with me. (no rope start on the 6LP)

I do know where the relay is but I’m wondering there the main fuse or circuit breaker for the engine is
