I did these years ago when I had "Bunkie".

Funny thing I just noticed... The reflection in the water reveals the "original" boat in the photo, before editing, with its navy blue cockpit canvas and all!

OK, I'm still dreaming about this and should probably stop before I get into trouble. Hetek inspired me with his "artist renderings" and I spent a couple hours with my paint program and copy/paste to make a few A25 specific sketches with a new wheelhouse. What do you all think?

It was hard finding a good side-on photo of a 25 in the water with the canvas off like the one hetek used for his A27 rendering. If anyone has one please post it or send along so I can keep defacing this beautiful old boat.

I'm thinking I'll call it the Great Alaskan Albin25 :?

Install opening side windows on the pilot house and it would be perfect!

Even better would be to have at least the center front window/windshield hinged to swing open for flow thru air like a typical Taiwan trawler. Yes, we were lusting over 34 to 36 foot Taiwan built trawlers, Albin or others, and looked over several that were on the market when we were up in Seattle in '18. In the end it seemed a bridge too far.

The Albin 27's also have the top-hinged center windshield section. It's very nice for ventilation, and our grandkids even use it to crawl out on to the foredeck. :D

Next step is to extend it backward and fit a shower in there. With a shower it would be no issue looping in it!

I like the three window curving design best that would allow the middle to open for ventilation and it matches the other lines better.
