New 28 Flushdeck Owner SF Bay

Post by vositis »

Hi all, my dad passed earlier this year (not from Covid) and I have decided to keep his boat. He was in poor health for several years and the boat had not moved... or even been visited for at least three years, so there is more than a little bit of work to be done.

At this point, after being towed in once already, the boat is at least clean and operational.

I've owned boats for 25 years, but never a salt-water/ocean boat, so I'm looking forward to learning all the new things :D

I'll just meander over to the maintenance section and get started now....

Kind of the same thing with me. FP2 was a joint venture between myself and my father until he passed almost six years ago now. I did consider selling as I found it difficult to use the boat for a while, but in that time I’ve also made a huge amount of upgrades so now I’m sticking with it
